VetCor is an Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) certified firm. Join our team of veterans! The VetCor Technician is responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective mitigation of all assigned projects in accordance with IICRC guidelines using the training and resources provided.

The Technician is expected to treat our clients and co-workers with dignity and respect – always adhering to the VetCor values. The Technician is also expected to properly account for, and care for, equipment either directly assigned, or personally used on each project.

Duties and responsibilities

Execution of Assignments (Projects)

• Executes daily pre-deployment checks of vehicles, equipment, and expendables

• Safely and responsibly operates vehicles, tools, and equipment

• Assists in the initial site inspection, diagram, and photo documentation of the site

• Safely and responsibly executes contents manipulation, contents protection, water extraction, and controlled removal of materials as required

• Employs drying / air filtration equipment in accordance with IICRC standards

• Employs engineering controls as directed (containment)

• Assists in preparation of documentation

• Independently conducts subsequent monitoring visits

Qualifications

• IICRC Certifications preferred (we will train!)

• Team player

• Exceptional communication (written and oral) / customer service skills

• Valid, unrestricted driving license

Technicians are required to be available on a 24/7 basis in accordance with a rotational schedule with other technicians. Working hours for a Technician can be unpredictable in this industry, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations is key. In some instances, a project may require working in elevated levels of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE).

Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, Hays, Travis, and Williamson Counties; and Austin, Bastrop, Belton, Bertram, Buda, Cedar Creek, Cedar Park, Del Valle, Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Elgin, Florence, Ft. Hood/Killeen, Georgetown, Hutto, Jarrell, Johnson City, Kyle, Leander, Liberty Hill, Lockhart, Luling, Manchaca, Manor, Marble Falls, New Braunfels Pflugerville, Round Rock, San Marcos, Smithville, Spicewood, Taylor, and Wimberley, and surrounding areas.

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
